I'd love one on those.
I do think it's funny that as limited production as they were, there are always at least a handful floating around on CLs across the country.
Let's see... A Craigslist ad with decent spelling and sentence construction, as well as a reasonable level of knowledge of the item being sold???
Seems kinda fishy to me.
A galant feels like a motorhome! thats funnay right thar ;)
im in Racine, close. if anyone really is interested I could go look at the car. seems like big ching to me, but eh..

Yeah, I think the last 3 would make some decent challenge cars, and I have a soft spot in my heart for 80s yodas and early 3 series cars, and have always liked broncos (not sure why)...alas, I have no more monies anymore

Is that a short person joke?
I blame Adrian, he forced me to drop $11 on the latest EVO mag b/c of the DTM tech article And it just so happens the article right before that one has a '90 VR4 in it...damn. Looks like a nice car, but the price is a touch high, and I don't the car is a simple injector swap and chip away from 12's. Not by a long shot.

Ehhh.... actually, it really is that close to 12s. EASY 12s. It's probably knocking on the door to 12s right now as it sits.
But yes, the price is high.

Really? The magazine said that it ran a 6.8-ish 0-60 stock. Which would probably put it some where around 15 for the quarter. Granted this one has upgraded plumbing , but I just don't see it, not with injectors and and a chip.
It's got quite a few fairly serious modifications done to it.
Turbo, cams, fuel pump, exhaust, intake, ported manifold, etc etc etc.
I've seen first hand what one of these can do on a stock turbo w/ exhaust, cams, fmic, and boost controller, and they're pretty damn quick. Easy 13s on stock turbo.
klipless wrote: Ah, totally missed the upgraded turbo. How did I miss that and see all the rest?
I dunno. They'll run 12s on stock turbo with a good tune and all the supporting mods, though. Anyone's guess as to how long they hold together with the peashooter pushing that much boost, but they'll do it. At least once.
