SW Michigan is super bad as well. Wife actually broke a sway bar end link recently and I'm scared to look at what else is messed up.

Here in Chicago, the city is claiming they filled their 200,000 pot hole of the season. You can not even tell that they filled one. Contractors have to use a special "city mix" of concrete and black top when they build the streets. It is guaranteed to last until the truck is parked. Two years ago my wife saw a older Mercedes hit one and break open the oil pan. It is 6 months to a year to get 50% of your money for the damage.

In the burbs it's not quite so bad, but if I drove in the city regularly I would have some sort of ZAV. The roads are awful. Thanks Obama!
As much as I would like to blame Obama, this was the doing of the Daley crime family and tiny dancer. I love it when I see this kids lower their cars around here. Fire roads are better.
This morning, I watched a guy in a slammed Mk3 Golf drive around a huge pothole by slowly driving on the wrong side of the road.
Then he came across a spot where there were similarly-huge potholes on both sides of the road, attempted to crawl between them and hit both simultaneously. Remind me to order up some RockAuto oilpans, CVs and control arms and take out a Kijiji ad.
well I received the new tires from the tirerack on Friday. I went to a jy north of Detroit to get a new wheel. The wheel they had was worse than the one on the car. after some percussive maintenance on her current wheel it was relatively straight and able to be balanced. It is nice to not have to drive to work on the doughnut spare.
