Owned: Dead flat tie between the current Miata and the previous Spec V. Different cars in just about every way possible, but liked them both equally for different reasons.

Driven: Probably an S2000. Simply the best manual transmission/engine combo I've ever put my hand to and the rest of the car seemingly built around it. Loved it. May own one some day.

Not the Miata, too fragile and terrible on the interstate.

Not the Allroad, not quite enough gearing and should have been a manual.

My favorite all time fun car was my 1988 Turbocoupe with beat suspension. 5 speed, RWD, big turbo power and durable as a tank.

This is an odd combo, but I think out of the current fleet it would be my 96 993 and my 78 T/A. Both are just a blast but go about it totally different. I really enjoy going back and forth between cars like that for the contrast in experience.

I had the most fun driving my first car, a 1980 Trans Am.

The most fun car to drive I've owned was my 1982 BMW 320is.

The funnest car I've driven was a 1999 Chevrolet Corvette.

My old Z-cars were the most fun to drive, but kind of caveating it; with urethane bushings at a minimum in the compression rods, quite fun; with urethane throughout, the absolute best.

My 320i is the second most, even though they're really slow until you do a few mods to wake them up (then they're just slow...).

The Answer is third up, although the ability to throw down the roof almost kicks it up to second.

Ones I've driven/riden in that were fun were a C6 Z06 (wow, rocket ship), an 88 Vette we rented on our honeymoon, and a friend's dad's 80's 911. I'd probably still rank them behind the three above, but the rocket ship would have ample potential to top the list if I could spend more time in it.

Most fun car I've owned isn't a car at all. 1980 Honda TwinStar CM200T. A motorcycle. Archaic, but I've ridden its 12C.I. 14hp ass 500mi in a day to the Mississippi River. I've drag raced it against a blown fuel alterd (and lost ) I've crashed it, fixed it back up. I can never, ever sell it.

Most fun car I've driven isn't a car. I flew a 1944 T-6 Texan. Loops, rolls. Completely ruined strait and level flying forever.

My favorite car is my 79 RX-7 GS. I think about selling it sometimes, but then I drive it, and remember how much I love it. A close second is my 74 REPU. I have owned the truck longer, and it is a member of the family now.

Nah, that would be the Taurus wagon I had in high school. The foxbody Lincoln didn't have much of a backseat.

I really like my current Miata, but it's not a fun car.

In my senior year I got a 1973 Brown Maverick 4 dr six cylinder/auto. The car was FREE and throughout its short life zero berkeleys were given. The car went off road/ on road and parking lot demolition derby.

I drove the car to school and work for about two months. In the end, it had no windows and the trunk was pushed into the back seat. I enjoyed the berkeley out of that car more than anything I have ever owned.

Owned: toss up between my old ZX2 with SR suspension bits. I beat the hell out of that thing. More fun that it had any right to be and my 91 Foxbody GT- at 16 i had tons of fun in that car.

Driven: sad as it may seem, a '14 focus ST. I've not driven many 'fun' cars, but i test drive an ST a few times and it's a perfect combo of torque and tossability. At least for a guy that DDs an automatic 4cyl sedan.
