I don't know arif, I uploaded them on imageshack. For the next sketches I put thubmail icons too.

I'm not so good at it. Ha, regardless. I added some 'umph' to the front fenders like 'yall mentioned, and a tiny bit to the rear. I'm gonna stand my ground on the sloping rear end though. I don't know why, just gonna do it. I'm basically a stubborn little donkey.
This is simple and nice. I like. If you could come up with a rendering more like Xabier's, it might sell better, but I wouldn't know where to begin....

This has got to be in the top three. Nice work. I'll just repeat the other praise and quote so it makes the next page! I'm not sure what I would do to make this better.
The work here is getting phenomenal! Arif- that is some high-quality surfacing! I can see some Lotus Evora, Alfa, and Ferrari influences. Proportionally, in my opinion, the thickness shown ahead of the front wheel arch is a bit akward, and could benefit from a bumper cutline or foglight/air inlet graphic. Otherwise, it's a pretty solid design!
@Xabier- great work! Well restrained with some unique elements. Will you be using donor tail lights as you have with the WRX headlights?
@Thanas- love that red front 3qtr. Seriously worth developing.
I was shut out of the FF forums for no reason so I'm back here again. All I'm looking for is some feedback. Here is the Carve after a lowering, increasing the thickness in the diffuser, raising the windshield, and filling the door opening. All in the name of avoiding the dune-buggy syndrome which many in the other forums have aptly pointed out :) Thanks.
Aw, heck. I guess I'll show a card or two, now. Here's one of my early sketches. Cheers, Marc-- congrats on the LM placement, and I'm diggin your dune-buggy-roadster approach.
In reply to arif: My first impression is, Holy Crap!! That is really beautiful, maybe a little more droop in the nose, but otherwise very Ferrariesq.

I really dig your rendering style. Are you more into industrial design, or do you also do concept art for games/film? Has a very Craig Mullins look it - and he also started off in automotive design.
Its neat to see all the designs, but I vote for cars that are coupes or can be converted to coupes so they can be rally-purposed.
Since it is a Subu-rat power, and everybody loves RWD rally cars, and the mid-engine types are awesome, I say go for it.
Here you go for inspiration:

Hey, thanks. I'm a lapsed car designer-- the last cars I designed were actually toys for Hasbro. I'm currently doing mostly consumer product design, but I miss designing cars. I kinda went back to old-school marker/pastel style with that one. Fast, loose, and fun.
@wvonkessler: always loved the Killer Bs! Definitely agree that whaatever FFR ends up with, it should at some point have the option for a roof.
xabier wrote: Hi all again! I have been quite busy lately but I managed to find time to work on my design, but for now I can only show you the front render, I have the rear almost decided so that will be the next step. This one is yellow but I have tried it in green, red, blue and orange so if anybody wants to see any other color just tell me. After I finish with the rear I am going to work on a more track oriented version of this car, but for now this is all! Tell me what you think of it please, thanks!
This yellow one is really hot! Its about to be my screen saver.
Wow! These post are gettin' great! Here's the entry I'm working on. Any and all feed back would be much appreciated. I am a fabricator by trade and have limited design skills and no rendering software, (maybe I'll go to school to learn it) just pencils, I am hoping my ideas come accross and can generate some feed back. I am kinda stuck on the large front opening and I think the rear is athletic and functional at the same time. What does the tread think?
Hi guys, lots of interesting designs on here lately and still two months left! Here's my third entry. I've included both street and track versions.

The front is a bit higher than I was thinking it would be, but it sure looks fantastic that way. I love the high hipline in the rear too. Nice work!

I've thought the same thing, I learned to draw cars from Trosley of Cartoons Magazine fame and learned to exagerate the main features, I'm working on a more proportional sketch.
In reply to Thanas_4: From the thumbnail I can see your design is very nice, I like the front end. But still not satisfy to see small image only. Perhaps you should try to use another free images hosting anyway.
Different angle, changed a few things, Also posted on the FFR forums, let me know what you guys think.
unclebigbad wrote: That is nice. I'm really diggin' the shape, but I think covering up the radiator is a mistake.
Thanks, it is just a concept. I'll mess with it.
Here is a profile sketch w/ the driver. I've moved th body lines around a bit an shortened up the front over hang, the light lines inside are posible duct routing for the intercooler and turbos, or maybe I just need a better eraser.
