Having trouble replacing pads and rotors on the rear. Does this piston look like it is all the way in? photo 20150702_164713_zpsigrcdfpj.jpg

I think you need to rotate the piston so it goes back all the way...Captain Obvious

Is it supposed to be very difficult to twist back in? Ive tried with the cube and only managed a little less than 1/2 a turn.

Pop the cap on the master cylinder?

mine always had decent resistance, but it was never a struggle (if that makes sense)..

Probably took about 2-3 lb/ft of torque to spin it back?

So I noticed that the calipers seem to be spaced differently from outside of the car. Any way to adjust this? Left side: photo 20150703_154445_zpsiwrhrhbp.jpg

Spacing is the position of the slider.

The cube type caliper piston retractors suck. "rent" a goid one for free from the local parts store. The one I got from AUTOZONE turned out to be a bluepoint knockoff that was very high quality so for the $50 rental deposit I decided to keep it. Makes dealing with screw in calipers a simple task.

This is the one I got. Great quality for the price.
