trying to get a look at the standard abarth.. is the trunk lid flat black too like the original Fiat Abarth 124s?

It is the euro spec car, so probably lower claimed power for various reasons.....I'd assume the one we get will pack at least 180hp.

I would also not be surprised whatsoever if part of the deal between Mazda and Fiat says that Fiat isn't allowed to sell a car that offers a significantly better price to performance ratio. I think they are deliberately keeping the Fiat's performance reigned in to ensure that it doesn't make the MX-5 look like a raw deal.

The fact that the 124 Rally packs a 300HP 1.8 in there though gives me hope that we may someday see a street variant of that setup, although it would surely be significantly more expensive than the base Abarth as it must post Porsche-like numbers with that kind of power.
