I have a white 2003 Vibe GT. I like it, but it’s boring looking.
I thought I could dress it up with some graphics. But so far, I’m just not inspired by what I see on Pontiacs. You guys have good Googlfu, so you may prove me wrong, but so far, meh.
Then I thought about some of the Toyota liveries- TRD stuff etc. The orange/ yellow/ tan diagonal stripes are good looking, and would play up the white base color of the car.
Plus, it’s basically a Toyota Matrix under the skin, so perhaps a Toyota livery is good....
Thoughts?
This is a daily driver, not a race car. I am not looking to attract the attention of every cop and boy racer in the county. Just spice it up a bit.
So, who’s got great Googlaptitude, or PhotoShop skills? Any ideas??
Big Edit. I missed that you wrote it is a white Pontiac Vibe. I thought you bought Jeremy's red Vibe.
My personal favorite:
I'm picturing something based on this in subtle grey or silver vinyl down the sides of the car, with maybe some red highlights here and there. Like the dot at his headdress and a red pinstripe underlining the mohican.
In reply to John Welsh :
I actually did buy Jeremy’s red Vibe GT. There was some confusion, and his partner sold it to someone else, thinking they were me.
The next day, Jeremy bought an almost identical white Vibe GT, and asked me if I wanted it for the same price.
So, I did buy Jeremy’s red Vibe GT, but it was white by the time I got it!
Borrowing from Pontiac Fiero, is there a way, like adaptors to mount these wheels?
If your graphics are words, maybe the word Formula
I’m trying to add a bit of color to the car, not just prove that white cars can look good.
John, that Le Mans is a stunning car, no matter what color. The Vibe is, well.... not.
Same thing for the Judge.

I almost said something but wanted to see how long you were going to keep posting red cars

You’re right. Martini looks great on a white car.
I feel like it is overplayed.

Like the black pin stripe on this Vibe below, I am just recommending run the same line but pay a subtle tribute to the Can Am by running the Can Am colors. Or, the Martini colors in the same fashion. Doesn't have to be a ton, just enought that those who know, will know.
Same could be done with adding "that shade" of Trans Am blue to the car.
While looking for Martini stripes on ebay this "generic" graphic came up in the listing. It is Martini inspired though subtly. It is universal enough and could work on the Vibe to add color but not scream boy-racer.
A good trick is to paint the lower rockers black or dark gray. The make the car look sleeker. E36 for example:
