Wow! Take off the bumpers and paint it black and a TR6 goes from slab sided beefcake to all curvy and sexy.

I'm partial to mallard. It's blue, no green, no blue (depending on the light). My next choice would be sapphire blue which is dark but not quite navy blue.

as to slick's question, i recommend starting with a set of panasports and re-evaluating the current color.

If you want an info on the autocross/performance side of things, let me know. I work with a friend who autocrossed on e seriously in the 80's. He still has it and keeps insisting that someday he'll get it back on the road.

The factory brown is just downright nasty IMO... but very popular in the period. Did they even make Stags or Jensen Interceptors in any other color? (I once complained about my "Mustard" (baby p**p) yellow Europa and was shouted down by Lotus pruists who declared it one of the most desirable colors for the car.)

A previous owner painted our Dansom Plum car a custom brown with gold metallic... actually more attractive than it sounds... I wouldn't choose it myself, but we haven't been disgusted enough to respray it... ;-)

I like to see LBC's painted in a BMW/Benzesque silver. Its not like any original color but seems to "modernize" the look a bit, if your looking to do something unoriginal.

I also like white on TR6's. They really look good in any color, though, you can't go wrong.
