I am familiar with the differences. Radiused rear wheel wells, removed bumpers, the front valance, and quarter window blanks are not what I would call a significant difference in look, for this purpose. Earlier in the thread I called the GT-40 Mark I and Mark II too visually similar to be separate entries, and they have basically entirely different rear thirds of the car.
Like I said, your thread...your rules.
Hmm, I guess I should stick these in some sort of order now. Any suggestions?
I've always been partial to Mr. Joest's 908/3 Turbo (the precursor to the 936).
You gonna post the rest of the Porsche racecars in order, or am I going to have to do it?

Lola T-70

What? No Javelin for Javelin's thread.
So many LMP's and no R18 yet?
Here it is pre-livery...

That's a Lola T-70, a gorgeous car as well, although I prefer it without the bits and baubles the Penske team tacked on looking for speed.

LOL You missed out on the bonus points for putting them in chronological order rather than number order.

I could just as easily have done chronological...numerical just seemed more organized to me. (really, numerically is awfully close to chronological, with 924, 944, and 961 being the main ones out of place)

Thanks for the correction. I had it right, then I went to look for a better picture of it and got careless. Oops.

The 910 is the out-of-order car I always think of first, coming after the 906 but before the 907.

I think all of these great autos would look much better without the damn sponsor's logos all over them. I guess it's just something we just have to live with.
i think porsche 935 is the best race car ever

I kinda dislike the "hood bump", but Marcos LM600:
