I got a summer job with a flooring company to earn extra $$ while I'm not teaching. This is in the parking lot outside the warehouse. I've always thought these cars were just about the coolest thing on 4 wheels.
Looks like it's been there for a while, judging by the webs and leaves around the tires. I asked a couple people about it and they're not sure who owns it. Looks like I've got some investigating to do...
Looks like some hail damage on the hood. I loved mine and wish I had it back. Same color as that one.
I love mine, they're my favorite car ever
They're seriously cool. "Lord Vader, your car is ready." Great ad campaign.
Funny, I snapped this picture today. It was in the parking lot next to my house (which is also my office.)
When was the last time you saw a mint condition Chevy Barretta GT.
I did not get out too see it it was a rare manual trans. It had regular plates (not historic) from the county next door.
Super rare here in the rust belt.
Cool, sounds like you've gotta do some digging on that one! I've found myself looking at B bodies a lot lately, mostly of the wagon variety. Although, there's also a Fleetwood on Craigslist that has been steadily dropping in price the last month or so...

Guy up the street from me has one of those in that color. Spoiler has the GM peeling paint melanoma thing going on, but it sounds the business.
The SS, not the red one. Great big Hawaiian dude, probably would not fit comfortably in a smaller car.
I searched Impala SS on eBay. Wow, nice ones are worth some money!

The president of our local scca has one with a t56 and 500hp ls.
The thing is crazily competent at autocross and he tracks it regularly.
He named it vlad the impala

nah i don't need two. black is my favorite of the 3 colors anyway, and mine is black so i'm good. and is sporting what should be a 400ish hp LS1, but we'll know approximately what it's putting down when it goes to the dragstrip. i think i'm going to autocross it just because it's so darn fun to toss around and it is way more fun to me to show up in the unexpected.
Okay blueingreen I tried this with 'Patrick' aka Patgizz, buy this beeatch and get with threepedals.com to get you the clutch pedal kit for your T56 install....I know who, the eff am I tellin'YOU to spend your hard earned CACHE. I only have your best interests at heart....
There were several manual conversions in the B body club I was in. Our president had his LT1 sleeved and bored out to 396ci and had a Whipple supercharger in it. Wicked quick but it was always broken.
One guy did NASA time trials with his and took it to the silver state classic.
There were several autocrossers in the group. Mine was the first car I autocrossed in. It's really a terrific platform for whatever you want to do with it.
There are a few cars that I regret letting go of, but my 96 is by far my biggest regret.

Man, those things were EVERYWHERE in southern Ohio in the mid to late 90's. There were at least three on my block alone.
Then they just disappeared
