Im curious how you fine folks are storing and/or displaying your matchbox and hot wheels collection.
I have a bunch, in storage totes put away, but as I get more and more, some opened some not, I thought it might be a cool thing to have out in the garage of in my office or something. A conversation starter.
Im thinking something on the wall
Give me ideas, please!
I got a wooden display rack for Father's Day. Just slide the whole car in original packaging down the slot and hang on the wall. It supposedly will even take the plastic display boxes.
I used a custom made cabinet with glass shelves to hold my Matchbox 1-75 collection. Sold the collection but still have the case (mounts on a wall). Anyone near PA that would be interested I will make you a deal to get it gone from my basement.

I have one like this, only more cars and they display at a 45 degree angle. Plus some shelves, but I think I'm buying another one of these and pairing down a little.

My father designed it in college to house his rock collection and my grandfather built it from salvaged white oak. I just re-finished it.
Bonus for Lego Star Wars stuff and a few of my father's old toys.
