Pulled the Jeep out from the wall but havent swapped transmissions yet. I did sell the RX7, make progress on the Jetta, and start to get the garage organized like I want.

What I love about GRM,
Most of us are blue collar or underpaid white collar workers who although love to entertain the idea of "racing" actually just own a bunch of cool old cars in various states of disrepair, all hoping that some day we'll win the lottery or have enough money to actually go racing.

Pretty much sums it up.
Personally, I have motivation to fini.........ooooooh shiny.
It's a disease called hope, combined with a drug called excitement.
Currently, I have an ITA Miata that needs bi-weekly tending, a restored to Grp 44-spec TR6 that all of a sudden has chosen to blow oil, and a TR7/Grand National swap going on.
Reading. Number of the respo sea has brought a certain sick peace.
I will sleep tonight.
How do you stay focused?
I don't. How else do you suppose I ended up with two broken race cars (out of 4 total), two boys, two dogs, two jobs, twenty other projects and a frenetic need to run/bike/hike/ski/rockclimb/drive/race/drink/(insert-whatever looks cool here).
Things only get finished because I have a multi-threaded processor and keep good notes

The transmission is in the Jeep now. AX15 with external slave swap, although second is a little sticky . I actually got it running and driving over the last few months. Still have some odds and ends to finish up but I hope to take it to the Mounds and shake it down in the next couple weeks. Ive taken it wheeling in in the back pasture and nothing fell off. Figure its ready for the next step. I didnt make a build thread for it but most of my postings in this Thread are about my accomplishments with it.
Jetta has been sold for several months. Current toy fleet consists of the Hooptie and the GRM Rallycross Impreza.
Of course everything is for sale...
