BTW, there's no reason to expect a crank nose failure on this engine. It can certainly be done, usually by leaving the bolt loose after a timing belt change. But it's not something you'd necessarily expect to see nor is it common.

We can talk legal. Or we can talk negotiation. The latter is what's going to get somewhere. There's absolutely no point in getting a lawyer involved.
