ISO NC Miata Shifter...Where's the secret Miata stockpile?

The GRM crowd seems to be really good at finding stuff so throwing out a Hail Mary here.  I've been searching for a shifter assembly from an NC1 Mazda MX-5 / Miata. It would need to be for a 6 speed manual transmission, preferably NC1 from 2006-2008.

Bought a junkyard transmission for a project and the shifter was missing. I could use an aftermarket short shifter but they are too expensive to justify the modifications I'd need to do. I've struck out at the following:

• No listings on Ebay
• Miata recyclers I've called only sell shifters with transmissions
• Car-part.com hasn't helped too much...I've called on many listings. Inventory is either not updated, they can't find the shifter, or the yards send me the wrong one (I've been shipped 2 auto six speeds, one manual 5 speed!)
• Made a few FB postings in NC specific groups without any traction.

Anyone have one lying around or know of a better place to look? Thanks!

Where are you located? I have the stock shifter assembly from my 06 six speed and I plan on keeping the short throw on it.
