a Chevette front end and a Citation front end at the rear until the 87 model year... it sounds like a disaster, but it worked pretty well..
then they made the chassis awesome in 88 and the Corvette guys got scared, so they had to kill it before they shoved the DOHC 3.4 into it and spanked the Corvette in every way possible... they were also working on a turbocharged Quad 4 version that was going to be pretty fun, too..
