A buddy is going to look at a couple of R56 MINIs this weekend, and I'm going along as a second set of eyes, so it would be nice to know what to look for. What I know is that both cars are base models with 6-speed manuals, one is a 2007 and one a 2009. Both come with extensive records, and at least one of them is a one-owner car. Any guidance on particular problem areas or things to inspect closely would be helpful. I will have a good bi-directional scanner with me, so I can check electronic systems as well.
