Is this M2 fast? How's 9th quickest?
Some of our guests from the Classic Motorsports Road Tour stopped by to learn about Time Trials and the SCCA.

Fastest lap of the day came from this 1000-horsepower Shelby. How fast? It broke the splitter fast.
Speed Kills

good to see LMP360 poking out from the back of the grid there
Any Mopar fans? How about a 1970s Dodge Challenger ... on gen 2 Viper chassis ... with a Hellcat engine.
Your current leader, with a 2:02.759 lap. The driver says that broke a production car record at the track - which was his goal.
Justin Peachey - second fastest so far - 2:04.768 lap ... on 200tw tires ... with naturally aspirated engine.

Twinsies!!
My 94 Miata had a similar aftermarket advantage...except on both sides where piston #3 used to be
ironically, it happened at the after thanksgiving trackday at the FIRM last year...pretty sure JG was there when it happened
This was a great event. NCM is a top notch facility with a very fun to drive track. Tons of interesting cars and builds with great people to hang out and talk with.
The LMP360 managed to run every session over 4 days and get back on the trailer in 1 piece with no failures. That's a huge win for a car like this. At a PB of 2:22.378 the lap times were not as competitive as I hoped but not to bad for a estimated 116whp from the EJ251.
I even managed to come home with some hardware with a attrition assisted P2 in U2 for the SCCA Time Trial Nationals. I will be back next year with more HP and other improvements.
