If you haven't already, you can see how J.G. prepped the 435i project for Time Trials Nats (despite the hurricanes):
Readying our BMW 435i for its first big test: Time Trials Nats
And the away team is away! (Well, some of them have hit the road.)
Check back for updates.
We're on the road to the UTCC/TTN!
Our second stop of the day to charge the truck and get some coffee.
Some guy at my hotel thinks he's a race car driver.
I have never seen as many cops on a single day as I did on I-75 through GA today. Eventually I turned off the sound on Google Maps because the robot lady was interrupting herself constantly saying "speed trap aheSpeed traSpeed trap aheaSpeeed trSpeed trap ahead"
In reply to JG Pasterjak :
Please tell me that you’re going to wear your driver suit to the breakfast buffet.
Good morning from the road! Tom and I are about 2.5 hours away from NCM at our first charge of the day. Some fine selection of snacks at this Pilot including sushi and an egg cup. We went for apples and peanut butter.

That's a hard no from me on the boiled eggs. See you guys later today.
Last pit stop before I hit NCM. Those gas station oysters are sitting kind of funny.
Those weren’t oysters....
In reply to Chris Tropea :
Good to see you were spared by the sketchy gas station food.
Since the 435i is there, I guess J.G was spared too?
In reply to Colin Wood :
Yes, J.G. survived the gas station food.
And competitors are starting to check in!
Props for the candy flag.
J.G. getting stickered up. He'll be lucky no. 13 this weekend.
Slight detour to the grocery store. Came across this.
Good morning from NCM! Breakfast is served at the GRM booth.
Wood paneling isn't only for 1980s-90s minivans. It even has the right texture.
Time for the drivers meeting.

Now I am super jealous. Morning full of cars and a delicious spread. Those chocolate muffins are calling my name

Not that I could make it this year, but stole my basic car idea, stole my number... I'm hurt, man, really hurt. Now you BETTER win.
