but just a little bit lower.
Did someone mention unusual lowriders?
It was really just lowered, but it sat low enough to be as impractical as any low rider. I miss it.
Play this in whatever type you end up with

JFA for the win! And that burgundy Caddy is pretty sweet.

Memories ...
Like the night the lowriders in my home town decided to start cruising the main drag, in the late 70's. Problem was, they decided to do the low and slow routine in areas that weren't customarily slow. So we had a mix of teenyboppers, hotrodders, goatropers, and lowriders, all moving at different speeds and with decidedly different agendas.
Did you know that a 4WD Chevy pickup with big knobby tires can go right up the trunk of a mid-60's Impala?

What the devil is a goatroper? I have some ideas, but they aren't fit for publication here.
This is my '65 Olds Delta 88, the pic was taken at the PO house. I just got it, and plan to use it to take the kiddies to the ice cream shoppe, etc...
I'd love to drop it down, put some long tailpipes out the back and a set of flame throwers....
I know the '60's Impalas are the popular choice, but I am a fan of the early '70's versions. I want one like this:
I would cut the springs (no hydraulics) and remove the top altogether. It would also have to have a big cop push bar up front and straight pipes with Thrush mufflers from the 350.

Goatroper = junior grade cowboy
Typically teenagers with pickups, Wranglers, cowboy hats, boots, Skoal can ring worn into their back pocket ...
In reply to slantvaliant:
Thank you for the clarification. I was thinking of something far different involving goats and ropes that could lead to jail time

Aside from the fact that I'm not the guy you sold it too, I love everything about this. What year is it?
I've also got a soft-spot for a white or brown '84 coupe deville. berkeley the "dub" craze, I'd go with Daytons & Vogues and listen to only pre-2000 rap.
