I want to get some open end lug nuts that are longer than the current set that came with the Thunderbird. As much as I'd like to save a few pennies, this isn't the place I want to do so without some proper due diligence.
Any suggestions for brands that have what it takes that won't break the piggy? I'm needing m12x1.5 to be specific, and I've been a big fan of the ones on my FRS that have the spinning seat.
I am waiting on a set of Dorman long open ended lug nuts that I ordered from Summit. Due to ship this Friday. The pockets in the wheels on my Cougar are pretty deep and some deep sockets can’t quite reach the standard open ends I have on it now.
Well that won't work for me. These are Dorman XL truck wheel nuts (712-245MXL). I was hoping the removable color car thread matched the 1/2"-20 of the rest of the nut. It doesn't so these are headed back to Summit soon.
