I will agree with everyone that said they wished there was a smaller diesel for the frontier. And why does everyone hate Nissan trucks so much? I love my dads frontier just wish it had better mpg. Before this he had two s10s though, so it seems amazing compared to them.

Oh I know... and I'm sure if I looked at the sticker, there's probably enough US-sourced content to consider it an "American" truck. But realistically, the average truck buyer isn't going to get past the "Nissan" badge no matter where it's made.

I don't "hate on" Nissan trucks... there's just nothing particularly exciting about them to me. Of course, I'm in the "if it ain't got an 8' bed and can haul 2 tons, I ain't interested" camp. A truck for me is an occasional use vehicle so I have no need for a smaller more compact version.

I think it's a Nissan thing in general, they are considered the Chrysler's of the japanese automarket.

Of course, the Titan was voted best truck of the year by motortrend and STOMPED all other comers back in 200(?) when it was released. It is still a very nice truck, but it hasn't been updated in a decade. The reason why I love it is because they are SO CHEAP. 4 door (crew cab), 4x4, with most options except leather is $26k out the door IN CANADA. With 0% financing. An amazing deal, considering a 4.8L v8 chebby with a 4 speed and extended cab is that much.

FTFY, after all they have 100 times more diesels available in the Euro cars than we do here in the good ole US of A
