The Droid X already has a massive screen, I can't imagine trying to fit bigger in my pocket (that's what she said).
I thought the same thing when I traded up to my Droid Razr, but I've gotten used to it.
BTW, gif pics for username headers are far more annoying on mobile devices.

I try to make all my comments easy to imagine that my avatar is shouting it, then running away.
The X has a larger screensize than the Razr, fyi.
I actually like 1st gen RX7s quite a bit. I also like the later ones, but they're much more trouble to keep running. I had a friend who was an FC nut and I watched so many cars blow up or catch on fire in such a short time that I was forever turned off from owning one. Never had that much trouble with the older cars somehow.
I also love AE86s, but good luck getting one. Pricing is absolutely ridiculous now. If they cost what they should actually be worth, I'd own one right now, but $5000 for an SR5 in mediocre condition, as I've been hearing lately? No freaking way. Aside from that, a nicely modded 86 is one of the best twisty road cars I've ever driven, in terms of driving enjoyment. Just interesting enough to be fun without being so "interesting" that it takes you into a wall.
I never had, but would love to own an Hachi Roku GTS.
I am going to go with SA22, because I own one. When it was driveable, I loved to drive that car. One day I hope to have it back on the road.
We've owned 3 AE86 GT-S's in stock, or mostly stock form. In fact it's been 18 years since I DIDN'T own one
concern stock... the wife's daily is a completely stock 1986 model... and shes wants more power
I started my autocross "career" in an '83 RX7. It was a fun car, but the steering is horrible. On that alone I'm going AE86. The 4AGE is one of the best engines ever made, and it simply drives better. For looks, RX7 though.
I own an '87gts and have always wanted an rx7, but I'm going to have to go with my gts, you can't beat the simplicity, reliability, or that screaming 4ag. Oh and I can bring the kids along.
RX7. Driven both but only have owned several 7's.
Only one has pistons so it gets my vote.
86, but the flip up lights are ugly.

Hey Synth if you ever want a hand with the SA22 I'm local. Used to have an FC. I miss that car.

Oh, this a hard one. I love them both, but have a huge soft spot for the 4age and the rolla. That said, if it were a 13b in the FB/SA, then I think the engine would have more potential than the 4age. I think I would have to give the Rolla the steering and suspension edge. The AE86 has a drift penalty that the rx7 doesn't and might be the deciding factor for me. However, I will happily take both.

Fixed that for you

RX7 all the way
I'm going to have to go with the RX-7. The other one is just ugly.
I might be a bit biased.

Considering you can get an FC for about the same money as an FB, meaning as low as zero, why would you bother with an FB? The FC does just about everything right. Plus the Toy is ugly.

The FB looks a lot better and is lighter. Did I mention how much better it looks? The FC looks like a doorstop.

Each to their own, I guess. I happen to really like the looks of the FC. I won't be competing with you on CL for FB chassis .
The FC's much better suspension and brakes makes up for the weight difference. Especially if you're going to add power. I also like the additional elbow room.
Gimme the SA/FB. I just heart 1st gen RX7's. Don't get me wrong, the AE86 is a pretty neat car as well and I wouldn't boot it out of the garage but the RX7's styling just wins. The buzzy smooth rotary is just icing on the cake.
Is the white and blue RX-2 in the background the C&D IMSA racer?

IMHO the FB is more tossable around an autocross course then an FC. I would take an FB any day over and FB.

Having owned an '89 (fwd) corolla gt-s I have to say I just love the 4age motor so much. Ae86 all the way. But the Mazda is also very desirable.
Indestructible 4A-based engine vs. notoriously finnicky rotary? AE86 wins. I'll take a Levin coupe.
