Drove/raced a 1990 with full STS2 prep for about 10k miles/1year

Drove a 1990 (flat black one in my profile) as a DD for probably 2 years /30k miles

Buying (this week) an emerald green 1999 that will probably see CS/ES/possible STR prep (whatever it falls in this week)... I am relatively sure that I will be keeping this one for a while, this is my perfectly optioned/colored car (I love BRG and I really like the way the 1999/2000 cars look)... I may end up dropping a 6spd in it though

When you are sacrifcing good Miata parts to be put into a Festiva, you may end up being more of the unaccepted sheeple.

(I hesitate to use the normal version of that....)

Once turned 90 degrees, they're EGT parts.

Two: 10 years in a '95 I wish I hadn't sold, and a new (to me) '91.

I also have 3-4 Miata engines floating around...two of them currently reside in my '88 Mazda 323 GTXes. :D

I owned a 90 since new for 18 years. Sold it for a 04 MazdaSpeed. I miss the tossable feel of the early car, but like having some power in the newer Miata.

So how do you handle emissions? Or is it not an issue in your state?

Not an issue here, but its a JR kit and is 49 if not 50 state legal. The V8....not so much

So we need to convince you to convert the Fiesta to RWD, so that they become Miata parts?

BTW, other thread like to say how bad that 1800 engine is. (sadly, I don't think that guy is reading this thread, so mocking is lost...)

Miata.net says that engine is cool.

(and I STILL owe you a small gift, darn it!)

~25, all NA's except for a '99 10AE. Currently 3, 1993 track rat, 1990 GRM $2003 V8 car, 1995 B pkg. for the wife. I've been through so many, I bought one from a buddy that I forgot I had sold him several years prior! Love these cars, so much better than the Fiats I was playing with before, more power & easier to find parts :)

3, a 94 base model in red that I had for 45k miles and 3 years, a 92 black and tan that I flipped and doubled my money after doing a spray foam.fiberglass rocker repair and buffing, and my current 90, which was $500, was a BABE rally car last year, and has been my daily driver since.

I liked the 94 best. Next, I'd like to try an early NB

2 total.

One '92 that I drove for five years and then totalled, one '97 that I bought without a title and parted. Still have the remains of the '92, trying to figure out what to do with it.

I don't miss DDing it over a long commute, but I do miss it for everything else.

I am also directly responsible for my parents and uncle buying Miatae for themselves as well.
