Minitrucks stopped being cool? E36 M3! Nobody bothered to tell me. Wait, they probably did, but whatever.
This thing confuses me to no end, as the front looks like a usdm Escort, and the rest appears to be mazda b series. I know you guys got the b series, its where the f8 diesel that became the f2t in the mx6 is derived.
Welp. Going through this thread was a bad idea.

This is all I've got, but not a tacoma, it's a "tundra" lol.
It says "Tacoma" in big letters across the windshield
Wtf, I'm losing my mind, I was positive that said tundra. Lol.

What no race truck tacos?
You bring up a very good point - forget Dajiban, I want full-race Grumman-type step-vans...that can still serve up a good meal after the race.
Surely you jest. "Tacos" is Yota speak for "Tacoma". Not taco trucks. However, I condone the idea of racing taco trucks WHILE making them in the back.
Sorry, I was hungry when I read your comment.

Love me some mini truck. Would love to build a cool ranger v8. I had a couple Isuzu's and a Toyota back in the day.

This looks neat, but what is the point of a 2 foot roof rack, when you have a perfectly good bed?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that diffuser be essentially useless? Especially the outer two thirds of it.

Hahaha, yeah, it confuses the b series guys a bit too. Ford Australia continued selling rebadged b series as couriers well into the 00's
Its the headlights that are throwing you most. They're from a Ford raider, which is basically a b2600 wagon. They look alot like USDM escort lights, but i could never get anyone to confirm if they are the same. (Mounting hardware for the raider lights is rare as rocking horse E36 M3)
Mines currently running an Fe 8v 2.0L. I'm trying to chase up an Na F2 to make a 8v 2.2 turbo. Because why not?
(Before I replaced the headlights and busted surround.)

I know where you can get a 12v head if you really want to have some fun. It's funny, because this side of the pond we use the 8v valve double stacked to prevent valve float in the 12v heads on big boost. There's a beehive set out of Oz too, bUT i dont remember which ones those are. You probably do.
Edit- definitely not usdm escort lights. Too... smash faced. Escorts were more slanted vertically.

Cheers mate, "know a guy" do you? I can get 12v heads, problem is the intake manifold and distributor placements on them. Finding a rwd injection manifold and camshaft for the 12v's is damn hard. It was just a stroke of pure luck that picked up a hb 929 inlet Mani for a case of beer.

I figured it was about time this thread had an actual Mini pickup in it.
