What tires are on your clown shoe, ojannen? I saw it in your build thread and wondered what people are running nowadays.

The forward bite was largely due to the (Dunlop?) ice/mud tires that are probably 15 years old by now but very carefully shepherded. I have Dmack mud tires that absolutely suck in comparison.
The rest is fairly well developed rear suspension geometry and a weight bias similar to many mid engined cars, about 45/55. The steering is helped by a quickener, which IMO is the only way to fly for rallycross but is only legal in Mod. When the front tires do little, you need BIG exaggerated motions to get any effect, and the quickener helps that a lot as well as reducing the likelihood of flailing-induced self nard punching.
It's fun to beat up on AWD cars even when it's muddy . But the cleanup sucks and losing sites sucks more.
