So last year Bridgestone dropped the Potenza RE003 on the rest of the world, while the US was still playing with the plenty good RE760/RE001. Now we get the RE003 rebranded as the Firehawk Indy 500, and it's... CHEAPER than the RE760?!?
Curious how this will shape up to the current UHP summer top dog Comp-2 and the newly released Kumho PS31. Methinks "Firestone" may have a winner on its hands. I'm gonna be buying my set soon! After my experience with the Toyo R1R, I don't have a use for anything that sticky, loud, or harsh on a daily. The Comp-2's were an excellent tire and priced very well.

Discuss.
No price was given. How do you know the price?
Sized 18-20 inches?? What about sizes for real cars that have to drive on Michigan roads?

Yeah, real, NORMAL cars that don't come with 18" wheels, like Kia Souls!
Wait a second..
I noticed the same thing. I'm not willing to go up from the 17" wheels on my steed.
Ugh, the Tire Rack website still hurts my brain.
Fortunately the commercial site still works like the old one...
Yeah, big pass from me until they get better sizes for people that actually drive the car harder than my grandma. Those sizes are for a mall dozer...

Eh, my two fastest cars are covered there. Doesn't seem useless to me.
I remember the first time i put 18s on one of my cars. TEN YEARS AGO. Some 18 lb Enkeis i wish i still had..
In reply to Trackmouse:
The smallest diameter of those tires is too big for any of my cars.
"Mall dozer". I'm going to steal that one.

Bridgestone makes this tire in a ton of sizes, which kinda boggles me a bit that they chose to lead with 18"+ from the start. I really want a 255/35/18, but doesn't look like it's available yet. May have to settle for a 225/40/18. Just have to get the centers powdercoated on my 18x9 racing harts now.
I'm just excited Bridgestone finally brought this tire over and somewhat replaced the re760.

Well hell the re760 is about the only thing decent left in my sizes thats not a fortune, and my sizes arent listed.
And they dont have anything wide enough for me to step up to 18/19
Agreed, where are the real sizes!? I need some 315/30/18 335/30/18 for the corvette that I drive on Michigan roads that has never suffered a bent wheel.
oh wait...is that not the direction we were taking this?
I'm not saying there should be 10" tires for Minis (ohpleaseohplease I hope Yokohama still makes the A008 for Minis I am afraid to look) but come on, there are a lot of smaller cars nowadays that want a tire in the 23-24" range, bones should be thrown.

Sounds like a drag radial size. Lots of room for sidewall wrinkle.

I bought some new for my Mini. I wish they made them in 13s.

New sizes dropped! Looks like my crap pile will be getting a 255!

Shiiiiiit good timing. I was about to pull the trigger on 760s, and then I saw these, and they looked "special". It took a bit of googling to unravel the mystery. I'll run these on my RX-8 this Summer.

The bastages are snubbing the 205/50-15 crowd! WTF???
Curious to see what the tread wear rating turns out to be. I might be a guinea pig and try out a set of the 205/50-16 as the summer tires on my Fit.

There's more sizes available out there, hopefully they bring them all over.
Interestinglysome ofthe sizes are from Japan and some from Indonesia.
Really curious as to what the specs are on the 205/55-16s.
205/45-16 available in 4 days, hmm. I need new summers any way. Food for thought.
