It's like the US Demolition Derbys we have here (ies?) only exciting.
There had to be some injuries in that mayhem. It makes the demo-derby at the Chelsea Fair seem pretty tame.

I had to stop when I saw the apparently clean bodied '72 LTD Wagon plow right into something or other.
I guess there's rich rednecks in all countries of the world.
Watching that I had an odd Sensation that something was missing. Then I realized none of the cars have roll bars or cages. Struck me as odd. Also they seem to predominately engage in only front to rear end collision except in an inadvertent side-impacts. I looked up the racetrack and went to read the rules but i was out of luck since it's in Dutch in the Netherlands. Weird.

Look up the fundamentals of suicide and homicide and you're 1/2 way there.
I've been binging on Clickspring.
Banger racing looks like a good way to get a sore neck and destroy old cars, but I'd rather have the Edsel than see it smashed up.

After watching half of that, I don't think there any.
So it seems like it's an actual race. First car across the line after a set number of laps wins. Other than that it seems the more people you murder the better.
Some of those cars were nicer than what I drive to work every day!
In another unlimited bangers (lol) video they smashed the E36 M3 out of a clean looking '68 Mustang. In the same turn where a Previa was going full derp.

The edsel the old caddy cut deep....but man that caddy hit hard and the dude in the edsel could drive.
Nearest I can tell, the rules are a cross between roller derby and cage fighting. Seems that laps win, but winning by knocking out the opponent is also viable, and preferred.
I didn't see any kind of crash protection in any of those cars. No cages, no door bars, nothing.
That's not exciting, that's a special kind of insane.
I can't even wrap my mind around why anyone would willingly climb into one.
Go to 1:20 in this.

It's not only insane, it's just plain old stupid.
Looks like rush hour around here... Except the cars are pulling off to the side after being mostly immobilized
