But:

We will only sell these engines to qualified Race Teams with solid budgets large enough to support extensive development necessary for top level racing.

This kind of reminds me of the v4 ls motors the we’re making from the scraps from the v12 projects.

Might be able to find not exploded used ones, I'm just guessing because it says to check stuff out at a show in 1998...

Please define these terms; "we are making". In regard to v4 engines. Also, parts list with pictures please. And is it. I work in a state of the art shop or I know a guy with some tools kinda thing. Waiting Impatiently.

Google v4 ls motor. Make your own conclusions. I really don’t know.

I think Dean meant "they were making" rather than "that we're making" when he said "the we're making".  I believe that photo is from somewhere in this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-hybrids/1643786-v12-ls1-build.html

Attempting a V4 LS is on my project short list. I figure the GRM'est route would be more similar to how Chet Wilson used to do it by cutting SBC's in half.

The engine specs are very similar to a decently ported 13B except at a little under half the weight.  Interesting.

As neat as the Motus V4 is, I don't really consider that LS based...At best it's more like 3/4 scale LS based.

The GRM version of this is one of those V4/6/8 2 stroke engines from a big outboard boat motor.

I'm not convinced you need to go V-4 and high dollar specialty to get that power for a project,  but that is pretty.

Arctic cat turbo engines can be had for $1500 and up for example.

Not the same, but pretty in its own triple/triple way:

Looking at the cutaway I wonder if they have the crankcase divided into 4 sealed sections, or if they have figured out a way to time the ports in the cylinder so they can use a common crankcase.

Totally miss read your post 5 years back. Yes auto correct got me and yes. "They are making" was how it should read.

I've seen such LS conversions before, but the block is cut the other direction, forming an inline 4-cylinder. That makes more sense because (I assume) the stock crank can be retained.

Edit: The above conversions were used by some circle track series.

Or for three grand you can get something off the shelf on eBay that does the same thing, costs next to nothing, has a history of being decently reliable and can spin to 14K. Ducati has been making a v4 for a while now.

Honda, Yamaha, Ducati and Aprilia make V4s. I don't think that any of them come real cheap. Maybe the Yamaha, but I think that I heard that it's got an iffy gearset.

A Motus would have been great for, say, $12k.  Not the $25k or so that they were asking.
