It was, but the 914 actually had better heads. Chances are though, someone told him that they used the same engine in the 914, so he equated that to "my van has a Porsche engine!".
I don't know what you guys are talking about, my van is SWEET! Ok, Ok, it was a little creepy, but is much better now.......no? The moon disks allow it to slip through the wind like a Bonneville streamliner!

My wife actually wanted a creepy van when we were talking about getting a cargo hauler. But when I ran across a '90 Suburban in pretty good shape except faded paint, we couldn't pass it up. Then we left it parked in the cul-de-sac outside our house and somebody called the cops thinking it must belong to a burglar.
Guess we managed to get something creepy enough for must uses.
