Go, Per, Go! He's sitting in sixth after the first day of National Championship competition, only about a half second off of the lead. Very tight race, with the top 10 all in the 44 second range! Best of luck on the second day, Per - Bring home the hardware!

Very cool. One of these years I am going to make it out there.
So I went to Deland this past Sunday, figuring I was a shoe-in for top PAX with all the good guys on their way to Kansas. Where did I end up? Fourth!
Yeah, we're really happy for Per. As he said, he finally drove at Nationals the way he does at every single local event!
Another staffer, Tom Heath, finished 16th in the same class--not bad for his first Nat's in an unfamiliar car.
Smiles all around at the roots of grass HQ.

Congrats Per and Tom! Are you guys still going to be around tomorrow? I've got a '09 justacooper on the way, so I plan on heading out early tomorrow to see round 2 of HS.
