Volvo 1800's are like that...and I almost fell into that trap... had two crusty POS cars for awhile... now down to just one. Fortunately, I have a small back yard or otherwise...
I haven't had time to work on Dr.Linda's Europa. I've been busy doing some "routine" maintenance jobs on the Esprit. You know, jobs that you put off then do all at once, like new clutch, timing belt, new leather seat covers, AC compressor, hoses, expansion valve, drier, gas tanks, parking brake cable, adjust the valves (take the top half of the head apart), you know "routine" stuff. This has sucked up a tad bit of my wrenchin' time, so the S2 project has been taking a back seat. Here's the current state, unchanged since I last posted it, but I'll just leave it here for you guys that haven't seen it.
In reply to Dr. Hess:
I didn't realize that it was easier to recover a seat if you did it while doing a timing belt! I'll have to try that next time!

I've heard Spitfires are the worst... and at one time, if you had a couple within view, people would sneak up at night and leave random cars on your door step...
