Just had to put those two watches together. Two more weeks until the race.
we had a fire exercise just a few min ago, and going outside, I could hear a nice v6 engine simulating a race. It sounds really good. Even from that distance.

Those two brands are owned by the same company.

I realize that.
Back to my original observation- leaving, I listened a little longer, and could identify where on the track it was- took a "lap" to hear the two parts on the oval. Man, I sure hope that engine does well in a few weeks. That would be way cool.

It hasn't been listed yet but it will likely be on a combination of Fox Sports 1 (formerly SPEED Channel), and Fox Sports 2 (formerly FuelTV). In years past SPEED streamed some of it online to go to other programming, but hopefully the whole thing will be on tv somewhere now that they have 2 channels to show it on.
despite the interim, combined goofy classing and half developed tech regulations there should be a lot of good action on track as evident by what we saw at the Roar last weekend. Now, the Continental Sports Car Challenge series, THAT will be fantastic this year!

Kevin do you have any extra parking passes you'd like to sell to a dear old AutoX buddy? lol.
And the conti series should be very exciting.
^sorry bud. I am actually working the race events this year so I didn't buy any passes. No onsite car corrals this year either (except the infield Porsche and Ferrari corrals) due to the construction.
The conti series this season really is going to be the most awesome it has ever been.

Ah man! Well I'll be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'd love to meet up with you. Are you corner working, photographing, or crewing?
You'll need to log in to post.
