So I have been accumulating/using a bunch of stuff that I seem to need to get rid of (new direction with dumb hotrod).  While I have succeeded in selling a whole car via GRM, the parts I have to unload seem to exceed the more popular value levels here.  With this in mind, I need some good ideas, as I haven't really tried to sell any parts in some time.  I also don't want to be murdered over a blowoff valve.

To be more specific, I have some decent C4 suspension/brake stuff, but I may also be selling a nice Borg Warner turbo with JGS supporting elements, a 6L80 tranny, and possibly even a Gen 4 LS.

What is the most effective venue for a non-Facebook person who does not want to make the effort of shipping?  I live in ATL metro, by the way . . .

Thanks in advance for any input.

If you don't want to ship or use FB, you're probably dealing with Craigslist. If you're not going to ship, you're going to have to deal with your buyers in person so murdering is always on the table :)

Not necessarily marketplace, but a Corvette facebook group?

Also see if there are people local to you on a Corvette forum.

Are there any platform-specific forums you can join? Atlanta-area Corvette club? At least there you'll have a knowledgeable customer base, but it may take longer to move a quantity of parts...

Also, posting on FB marketplace seems to be the place to go now, stuff sells really quickly there, its the new craigslist

Thanks for the input so far, folks.  I still have C4 brakes and shocks up in the Parts for Sale area here on GRM, probably a page or two in.  I may be able to do some shipping there, if necessary . . .

My wife volunteered her Facebook account for the M-place access, but I really don't want to do that to her.  The idea of being on Facebook, for me, is like voluntary vomit.  Yuck.  My aversion may relent this weekend.

In reply to eastsideTim :

It's a 2011 5.3 (LMG), with LS9 cam, ARP studs, LS7 lifters, Pac valve springs, LS2 tensioner thing, 799 heads . . .

Ahh, darn, I'm keeping my eyes out for a 6.0.

The rare stuff calls for finding the right on line group. I have sold parts for a rare old DOHC MG via such a group. You could advertise for a year on regular car parts sites and no one would ever even know what sort of car you were talking about.

Target your audience to whatever the parts are. Find an enthusiast group to contact (I have little use for Facebook).

Okay, so if I decide to sell my 5.3, I'll try it here, maybe even the turbo stuff, too.  There's an urge to return to N/A-land soon . . .

You'll need to log in to post.
