The car is a light ivory 79' 450sel with the 4.5 v8 that apparently just needs a battery to start it up and it runs strong says the owner.
I went to look at it real quick and there's no rust and just very few minor tiny dents. The headlights are cracked around the lense in both headlights.
Interior needs a little love, brown leather seats has a few rips and it's dirty.
The car has potential and the engine bay look like it was kept up. Lots of parts look new.
The owner broke his neck last year and stopped driving/taking care of it. He bought it to restore. He used to drive it every day to work 60 miles round trip.
Oh and it has almost 330k on the clock.
He wants $300 o.O Comes with a few black widows.
for $300 what could possibly go wrong? Even if it's a complete pile, that's not a huge loss.
I know nothing about them but For 300$ + a battery you really can't lose

I think I'll pull the trigger. He said he doesn't have the title though but he had the paper work for it. Lucky for me the VA DMV just needs a bill of sale.

If you get it, find some Euro Spec headlights. 
I don't care for those cars at all and even I wouldn't turn one down for $300 and a battery.

Idk black widows arent hard to get rid of. When I got back from Afghanistan a few months ago my garage had tons of bw spiders and so did my car. I just used a shop vac and some spray my mom gave me and after about a hour they were gone and I guess the spray kept them away. Didn't see any at all after that.

I like that car a lot. I even like the color. Pick it up and do a build thread and one of us sick bastards will probably want to buy it from you before you get sick of it.

No worries about the black widows, their bites are rarely fatal. Did you buy it yet? what's the hold up?
