You have to be good at cars to own a vr4 and not regret it. Requires pre-emptive and laborious maintenance which even talented people will not do if they dont have the patience or budget for it.
As for 200sx SE-R, i thought the first response was the best. I have driven one and thought it was pretty underwhelming as an overall package. I would like a 5spd g20 with the same motor a lot better (i owned an auto one briefly, never the manual) or a 5spd maxima if i was stuck on a late-90s 5spd nissan. The maxima is faster and has a lot more room. The g20 looks better and has a lot more room.
