I'm certainly not (money-wise) and after watching the videos, don't think I would in any case due to parts availability.

Maybe to part it out. I feel like even a totalled GT3 is still very, very expensive

A car that's actively wrecked? No, especially a 992 that you're right spare parts are probably non-existent for. But even the older cars a lot of the GT-specific parts are only available via germany so you get to either wait a month or two for them to show up or pay $$$$$ for expedited shipping. And that's if you can even find a dealer willing to sell them to you. When I got my cayman I ordered a factory GT4 rear sway bar, I think it took three or four tries to find a dealer that would actually go through the process of ordering it from germany.

A car that's been wrecked in the past and been repaired well? Absolutely, for the right price.
