I'm assuming you've seen 365days of A?
Wait, I bet you met the dude who did it since he works at haggerty's
Is there any way of getting rid of that annoying subscription pop up that makes it so you can't read classic motorsports articles on a phone? Half of the time I read the board I look at it on my phone, and it's really irritating that it does that.

I never figured it out, so I don't go to the CMS site on my phone.

^^this
Everytime ai tried to close it, it either moves or I open another link. I gave up on the site.
In reply to Slippery:
I complained about it in the past... but for some reason the powers that be seem to think annoying people will generate more subscriptions. I rarely fault the GRM/CMS crew, but that one baffles me.

Well, I guess as long as they know it does that and want it that way, I'm not the one paying for the site so I can't get that annoyed about it lol. Hopefully whoever wants that popup there will read this and go look at the site on their phone and make sure thats how they want it to work though.
Not sure about the cellphone/mobile side of things, but for the regular sites, I prefer using GRM to access CMS. The pictures are bigger.
Slippery wrote: In reply to Ian F: I already subscribe to both magazines! No need to annoy me anymore!
Same here. 10 year for both.
When I go on the CMS site on my laptop it's no issue since Firefox blocks most pop-ups.
For me its just the articles on the CMS site, even if I am signed in on both forums. Its no problem on the computer, but the rest of the site (except for the forum) is unusable from my phone.
I apologize, but you'll be happy to know a solution is coming. We have a fully functional CMS mobile site in beta at the moment, and as soon as the bugs are worked out we'll push it to our primary server.
That's a '28, is it? (Edit: Clicking the link might have helped...)
I hope you're putting the rumble seat to good use!
Left foot braking, turn right and stick your left foot on the tire, or learn how to avoid a collision.
Did you talk to the guys at Haggerty in Traverse City? One of their employee's did this a couple years ago in an a.

We have a new mobile-friendly site that should be up and running soon. That'll eliminate your problem with the slide-in subscription promo.
that is going to be so cool. it would be amsuing to drive something like that for daily use to just to screw with people.....i will have to follow this tread and keep up how this goes.
You'll need to log in to post.
