Nice photoshop. I say it's a good look. For some reason I think those wheels work better on your Vic than on the Mustang and it's different enough to get noticed without being too gaudy.

IIRC, the 94-95 version of these wheels are 8" wide. The main reason I'm tempted is because I'm quickly finding out that nobody stocks P215/70R15s anymore so the 17s are cheap insurance in case I get a sidewall puncture on my way out east.

I've always been a fan of the tri-bars. They look suprisingly good on your Panther. I think they'd look a little better if they were a bit darker (anthracite?).

I've been on the lookout for some used soft 8 style steel wheels for my SN95 on CL since Jeepers seem to use them a lot.

I was referring to the Jeep wheels posted right above my comment with the 7" thing. The Mustang wheels are probably wider.

I had a set of these on my old Xj. They were wretched or I might have kept them when I junked it .

Adapters would be my guess. There's about a 20mm difference in OEM offset, so 1 inch thick adapters would push the wheels out just a bit, just it looks in the pic. I like it.

There's piles of adapters out there for these wheels. Can confirm there's at least one 5x114 to this, did fenders for a 350z on these.

Oh hell yes, but ive always loved wheels from the 90s that everyone else hates.

Ive seen some good tribars in black but they left the lips silver or polished.

My recommendation would be a dark gold on a maroon car

Yeah, I'm with you on the tri-bars. They look cool.
