No suspension must make it interesting off-road. Kinda like a skid-steer Bobcat without all the useful attachments.

It sure is interesting and would probably be fun in the mud, but with no suspension it would be super duper useless.

After playing the fantastic contraption game you all got me into, I think some kind of ad hoc suspension system could created, whicle continuing the 6x6 operation, like a series of cantilevers (if thats even a word). If not as true "suspension" system, then at least a "terrain adaptive" system.

Maybe a pendular suspension? Tough to do with chain drives though.

What about just putting some suspension between the "pan" and the body. Not ideal, but you don't have to worry about the steering shaft. Not sure how the power is getting to the "pan" though.

Maybe there is a mattress box spring between the frame and the body.

Most of the time, those types of vehicles use sprung bodies or seats combined with springy tires. Think of those weird Buck Rogers 6x6 rides.
