A slightly used viper showed up at the house yesterday, think I am going to keep this one for a while. Got to love cheap sports cars in this market, it was a heck of a deal, close, the right color, and only had 2700 miles.
Got to stripe it and remove the run flats and I am done. Wife likes the ACR black stripes with fangs I want the big white ones like the special editions. Well see who wins as she also drives it so here opinion carries weight.
Only have time to do one autocross this year. Going to the PCA run what you bring event in December at Qualcomm. Traveling to much to do anything else.

Okay, I'm jealous.
I vote black stripes. Not that it matters.
How is the market on these cars? My friend has been toying with a used model but only wants to pay around $30k for an older version. The Viper is still a bargain in my book for what you get.
You must lose the chrome wheels too - black ACR stripes look badass - as does a proper roll hoop.

Nice score.
Personally, I wouldn't stripe it and leave as is.
Congrats!!
Since people are already giving suggestions....
How about black rims and black stripes?

You have been talking to my wife.
You can get a clean 06 like this in the mid/high 40's with a max care private party. Add ~4K dealer. No coupes and mamba/specials are a different story.
I vote you keep it as rice-less as possible.
Preferably no additional wings or stripes or protrusions.
Every modified viper I see looks like a mustang fan boi finally cashed in his trust fund.
I'm not a huge fan of Black stripes. I'd paint the whole thing black, first.

I could live with black stripes, but I do NOT like black wheels, except with a polished rim. Nice score!
May I suggest doing the white stripes in silver with a nice silver or polished wheel? I think that would look better than the black/black theme.
How about 'Time Attack' style wheels (black w/ thin red stripe on the rim)?

How about ghost stripes or flames in a slightly darker/smokier shade of red? Nice and subtle. Oh wait, we're talking about a Viper. Nevermind

Viper and subtle do not belong in the same sentence.

Rims that are less 'showey' more 'motorsports' always look great on vipers:

Amen brother. This may be the one that they got right, right out of the box. There are only a handfull of vehicles you can say that about.
It's my opinion that anything with an 8.3 liter V10 doesn't need racing stripes.
Or anything other than matte black paint and black wheels, for that matter.
Oh, and how do you say "straight exhaust" in your language?

Do want. Red w/black stripes ftw
do want... no stripes, just keep it stock and add some hoosiers!
Needs a rockon smiley. I'd love an older Viper GTS. Stripes are ok, I don't think they are too boy-racerish. On a Viper, they're ok. I like them better on coupes. But either can pull off not having stripes. The Viper has aged well and I'm sure the 3rd and 4th generations will too
Black, on black in black FTW, stealth fighter sans wings
I didn't realize that the viper is in it's fourth Gen. I'm just happy that the new "Chry-Co" has apperantly decided to continue production.
+1 on race wheels, Hossiers and nothing else.

Viper with straight pipes sound like UPS trucks, Not such a good idea. Might do the Corsa system, not for the sound but to pull the crosover pipes and get the heat down a bit.
Though allegedly the Gen 4's have straight pipes with resonators that fit right up. If I can find some off a ACR I am in biz.

Nice viper! Always wanted to drive one of those, but I haven't gotten the chance yet!
