Who knows, it would have been specially imported. The good news is that the lower cost of a used car (within the allowed windows: less than 5 years old or more than 25 years old IIRC) can result in big 5-digit chunks being knocked off the landed price. A good rule of thumb (barring unusual currency situations) is that the final landed cost will be 2-2.5x the original cost of the vehicle.
In reply to Flight Service:
Yep, mine is a rough example but I enjoy it every time I ride. The CB-1 sounds like something that I would enjoy riding too. Sounds like the same chassis as my bike (obviously not as my bike has a SSSA) with a little happy revving motor.
dbgrubbs - OOoooo gears are nice!
I saw an ND Miata (dark gray looks great!) in Dexter, Michigan this afternoon. I know, not a unicorn but few and far between this month any way.
Well here's something you don't see every day
Pretty sure this is the first E-type I've seen in the country...or IRL at all. Looks pristine:
Only rare because most of them have disintegrated: I saw an old yellow Festiva this morning... Back end plastered with '04 Republican campaign stickers. That was worth a chuckle.
Saw this i3 on the way to work this morning. Dual plug in ports on the right side. The FX16 is mine.
In reply to trucke:
The Corolla is more of a Unicorn than the i3, I haven't seen one in years and years. Cool little cars.
Do Craigslist sightings count? If so I've got two

I knew it was possible to order one by the end of the run but I never actually saw one anywhere with the turbo 2.0 LNF. Crazy sleeper. and This one http://tallahassee.craigslist.org/cto/5026334730.html
It's even brown (I think)

Had to comment again. Seen two different i3's today since commenting earlier, first blue second burnt orange. Definitely no 80's corollas let alone an FX16
In reply to trucke:
I would rather have your Corolla. I don't think Toyota Canada brought them here. At least I have never seen one.
Parked outside my apartment a couple of days ago. It's not original (six tail lights, for example) but I'd drive it.
Rare rally edition Lexus:

Few people know that Tommi Mäkinen started off in one of these. Honest!
Saw a Mercury Capri XR2 (the little Aussie-built convertible) with a For Sale sign on it this morning. Pretty dusty, doesn't look like it's moved in a while.

"Looks pristine" (Is on a wrecker) :o
Saw a miata with the Italia kit on it. Black with a gold stripe on the door that said Italia.
Great kit, I wasn't a fan of the gold striping. I think the V6 conversion with that nice little noise and the italia kit would be an awesome combination
Saw a minty Omni GLH today, had a front mount intercooler and a mildly aggressive sounding exhaust. But a super clean, stock body with all the decals/ emblems
Looked like the wheels were a little larger as well. Very cool to see
Yesterday I saw a gold early 90's Corolla wagon with a manual transmission. Wagons of that vintage are rare around here. Wagons with manual gearboxes even more so.
