Looking for opinions on tires for the LTD for next race. It weighs 4000 lbs, so we're willing to sacrifice the ultimate in grip for some treadwear. We like to use tires for more than one (two, three) races. Here's the twist, BFG, Uniroyal or Michelin only.
The one option we like is :
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+Sport&partnum=45WR6GFSP&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes
Everything should be near that size. No, we're not buying wheels.
I am confused - there was no Michelin tire in that link. I am only naming one option, and it's a BFG.

Oh, gotcha. I didn't realize they only sold one Michelin in that size.
We have those tires for the XR4 as our street tires, we've autoX'd em too, they're very grippy for a street tire, very stiff sidewall too, good cheap performance tire, not the best, not the worst, but pretty dang good bang for your buck...

And isn't that what Lemons is about?
Sounds like a good option.
