***Unsafe load leads to charge of Careless Driving***
On Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at approximately 1:30 pm., the Woodstock Police uniform patrol and the Traffic unit responded to the area of Dundas Street, W., in the area of the 11th Line after receiving calls in relation to a vehicle pulling a hot tub down the road.
Police responded to the area and located a Porsche pulling a hot tub with a homemade cart. The 54-year-old male driver was charged with Careless Driving.
Safety fifth.

I wouldn't call this "careless" -- some obvious thought went into this crazy contraption -- but it certainly qualifies as dangerous!

I like the little trailer behind the 356 Outlaw.
My Porsche 944 factory workshop manual actually lists a trailer towing rating of 1200 kg (2646 pounds) with trailer brakes and 500 kg (1102 pounds) without. That 968 is likely rated the same. But there is no mention of dragging a hot tub on a hand truck. Not sure the tires are speed rated.

IIRC the tires on my handtruck specifically state they are not for highway use.
Just noticed it was the Woodstock Police.......is that where all the hippies went 50 years ago.......
