X2.
I already have it designed in my head. '60 Impala convertible. Deep black with about a gallon of ultra fine gold metalflake in it. Gold plate everything that was chrome from the factory. Of course gold Dayton's. And a leopard print interior on the original bench seats. Four wheel air bag kit wired through a Raspberry Pi board so I could pop in any music and make the car "dance" to the bass.
Then grab all of my geeky computer buds and just go crusin....

I almost bought a panther vic on juice a few years ago. I regret not.
I'm not afraid to tell anyone what cars I want. They may not make any sense to anyone but me, but whatever.

1988 1/2 Ford escort Pony
Hatchback 2 door.
It was my first car. I'd buy it now over 20years later if it hadn't returned to the earth long ago.
manual brakes,steering...everything. 4speed manual. All of 90hp. No tach, just rev the piss out of it till it quit making power. Never found a rev limiter either.
It was my first experience with lift off oversteer. Good times.

Honda odyssey with a 6 speed and uncorked exhaust. I don't even care.
Yes yes yes!!!! I'll go one step further on this with a big v8 swapped in and rwd-look up momkhana van.
My 15 year old and I were explaining to a friend of his how we wanted a woodgrained, 5-speed Caravan turbo. He friend kept saying that a fast mini van is just goofy. We tried explain the concept of a sleeper and he kept coming back with, "Yeah, but if you're going to have a sleeper, it should be something cool like a Camaro or Mustang".

I don't understand the question.
Unless my friends are buying, insuring, and buying parts for my cars why should i care what they think about my weird automotive tastes?
I don't even care what my girlfrirnd thinks, and i love her.. and i did actually laugh at the way she rolled her eyes at me when i told her i was trading my perfectly functional 40mpg 99 Saturn for a rusty 84 Caprice of unknown mechanical condition from a stranger on a facebook group, and that i was going to drive 60 miles to do it and hope that it got me home..
Going to add one more. I have an unhealthy affliction for weird VW based kit cars. i even like and have owned a Lazer 917 just for E36 M3s and giggles.
I used to own and want back my ThunderRanch Riot. I loved that stupid inbred thing. 800-900lb's if built right and handled like a dream, you would die in a 5mph crash though.
Does wanting a Miller Golden Submarine count?
My friends all know I'm strange about cars lol. I told one friend I wanted a says in b210 and he thought I was crazy

Another Rover 2000tc. A reliable one would be a nice change.

Funny you bring that car up. My friend in high school had one...could have been an '87, I don't remember. But it was an Escort Pony with not a single option, don't even think it had a/c. I learned to drive stick on it. Good memories, until we wrecked it on Thanksgiving Eve one year.
I I I kinda want another j body. I can't believe I'm even admitting it out loud, but I do.
I second the late 80's cavalier z24, my wife had one when we dated and got married. I thought that was a hot car, little did I know, but if I could I would love my old Dodge Omni 024. I learned to drive stick in that thing. Bought used at a Ford dealer, my dad signed the papers while I was at work, then told me to pick it up. I told him I couldn't drive stick and had to get to school. He said figure it out and don't be late for class. I so much want....

Never had a problem like this. Really about anything, but definitely cars, because if I like them and it's topical, I'll talk about them.

Fords: Mustang II, Pinto wagon, and a Fairmont.
GM: Early eighties Regal-Cutlass, etc.
Of course all of them would have to be modified to fix shortcomings and increase performance.

Divco milk truck? Why? What would I do with it? No berkeleying clue
I don't care what anyone thinks; I want one of these:
Late 1980's Olds Toronado. Ever since my dad brought one home as a loaner for a weekend when getting his 1986 Olds 98 Regency Brougham serviced, I wanted one. I love the looks, and I love the 80's digital everything interior. I want to swap a later 3800 SC into one and daily drive it.
Minivans. There, I said it. They handle well, get decent gas mileage and swallow mountains of stuff and bodys. I love them for their sheer usefulness. They're the automotive equivalent of your dull-but-loyal pal who is always there when you need him. The irony is that the last time that I owned one I had no children. Once I became a papa I never owned one, which just goes to show what a dumkoff I am...or something.

That's all that matters!
Mine is a 1990-1994 Geo Metro 2-door. Dont know why but they always look right as a Hatchback.
Any minicar over a micro sprint chassis. I know Im odd.

Stick shift PT Cruiser with the Dream Cruiser wheels.
I want another ZX2. I had a blast driving the last one into the ground. A mtx or an SR would be fun to beat on
I also would like a 1g FWD turbo DSM, and a 1g neon RT in that heinous green color

Zx2's were a blast to drive. They are still out there but getting harder to find a decent one.
