I came close once. Was black with the woodgrain sides. Mrs Mopar wasn't on board with that idea at the time. Today she would. The extra couple decades of my bad influence have had some effect.

It got donated to the HS auto shop class in 1993 after my sister bounced it off of several trees during a thunderstorm - she was unhurt. I'd love to find a restorable one.
My wife prefers Aspen wagons since a friend of her family had one and she went on the summer road trips in it. I prefer the Volare.
Mom's Volare wagon looked like this one, but originally had the factory wire wheel covers.
I'd like to have one for a shop parts chaser.
I kind of hate that I really like this....

Thanks, she was really just supposed to be a temporary car for some summer hauling and BABE rally but I really love it. Still have an airbag setup sitting on the shelf for her when I get some time, maybe this summer when I get back from the Saints 2 Sinners rally. Thought about taking her on S2S but I'm going to ditch my car and fly home and I can't ditch this one. Darn shame though, its a great road trip car.
Lets not forget these twins lost at birth.
VW fox wagon
And the Audi Fox that spawned it.
