Before the big event, have any last-minute predictions or wagers?
Man......a modern drivetrain with a 240z body would be great, like......as close as humanly possible would be great.

Concur, but it will be a fat turd as all modern cars have become. I still hope it will be cool, I am looking forward to it.
I thought some photos were leaked a few months ago and it looked like a slightly updated 350...I mean 370z?
If the numbers, specs, and design survives from the prototype in some fashion I predict big success for it. Good looks and great HP/Weight ratio make it look like a contender. Potentially something I'd even buy new.

Prepare for disappointment. I suspect that it'll be north of 380hp, but 3300+ lb.
Horsepower has killed the sports car, but I'll save that for another thread.

crash safety ratings and pedestrian impact ratings have killed the sports car.
In reply to MrChaos :
I'm going to disagree. 400+ horsepower 3700+ lb things that often shift themselves go in a straight lines at stop lights and a lack in confidence that breeds toxicity masculinity have killed the sports car.
How many people like the BRZ/86 but say they won't consider it, but would if it had 30-50% more horsepower.
Young men with enlistment bonuses aren't financing sportscars at 27% APR...

I bet you are right sadly.
I remember talking to someone about cars and he mentioned a near 3800lb car as lightweight so maybe all of us here arent the majority too.
3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 rated for 400 horsepower ad 350 lb.-ft. of torque mated to either a six-speed manual or nine-speed auto available.
Here's a few photos while I wait for the full kit to download:
So far I like but we dragging it out.
I feel like being a dick tomorrow and showing up at my local Nissan dealer with cash in my hand. I'm here to order a Z.....
