It seems that you have to use full HTML in order to post a picture and as I am typing this I see the little camera button so never mind.

My avatar is an animgif, but seems to be still. No biggie, but if you paid extra for supporting moving avatars you may want to look into it.

If I want to quote what you just said without typing [quote][/quote] manually. I'd rather hit a "quote" button than copy/pasting as well...

Also--the multi-page topic headings don't have a 1,2,3 next to them so you can click right over to the last page of posts.

BTW--the screen name change situation obviously works now.

Personally, I'd pay extra to KILL moving avatars. :evil:

Seriously, though, if the animated gif is auto-resized to fit, the animation won't work anymore. If it starts life at 50px wide or less, it won't be affected as the auto-resizer never kicks in.

No button for that appears to exists. On the old board, there is "reply" and "quote" next to each other

Adding to the pile, the EDIT THIS RIDE button does not seem to work. and the "Add Reply" is kinda wonky-looking. Like is is written over something else, but just under the last three letters.

I will try the moving avatar adjustment at 50x50. Because you don't have enough headaches!

I see no navigation problems, my CM logon carried right over, I agree the left bar is too wide and I also am wondering how we go about modifying our profile. EDIT: Never mind, I found it. If I click my avatar it takes me to the modify profile link.

FWIW, to me this is easier to navigate than the new CM board.

Modifying your profile you should be able to click on your avie and then click edit profile in very tiny print next to your name.

I couldn't love GRM the magazine or the new website more, and believe me, I don't like to be the P.C police or anything or the guy who has a problem with everything thing, but I do have a problem with this...

I find it a bit offensive that you use terms like "Power dork", "Half dork" etc etc... for your little descriptions or whatever in the avatars. I myself am not a whale's genital, nor am I a whale's genital counselor, but I feel sensitivity for people with whale's genitals as my Girlfriend is pursuing her masters in the field.

These terms although I'm pretty sure are not even real words, are obviously meant to resemble the words used to describe people with whale's genitals, and it appears that they are used on these boards in a joking sense which, as I view it, makes light of people who are afflicted with whale's genitals.

It just dosen't seem right to me, thats all. I know that it's not my message board, and that noone forces me to post here, but all the same, some things are wrong when they really don't need to be.

I NEED the ability to preview before posting.

BTW, whenever I try to italicize a highlighted word, the new system simply puts the at the end of the sentence... Not real intuitive.

Yes... preview post is on The List, and I'll see what I can do about the italicizing. If you click on the ? icon, there's actually several ways to do it. Personally, I think using markdown is easiest -- just put * directly before and after what you want to italicize.
