Tore down the front of the engine in the 4x4 dakota to put a new timing cover seal in. Good thing I did because I found this:
Guess I'm going to need a new one of those.

This weekend I confirmed my "good used b18b1" has junk rings.
I bought a bunch of wood to build shelves in the garage
Took the Battery out of the Mustang. Snow proofed the garage with a 10' 2x4 under the door. Cover is on and Stabil is in the tank. Looking forward to that first start up in the Spring.
i drew the new chassis for my plymouth in PAD - pencil aided design. putting the kid toys away in the garage tomorrow and going to begin building it. may even have it as a roller by the end of the football game that i'm not watching. depends how crazy i get with the welder.
Back the valves off on this, open 360 roller cam with iron 220cc World heads built for non-wing racing.

I'm using that in the future
I started cleaning the bilges in my sailboat.
As colder weather is upon me and both 'glass and the paint you use to cover it does not do well in colder temps, I moved into the cabin.
I started with drilling a hole in the side of the keel to eventually add a "garboard plug" so the boat does not drown when on land (all boats leak a little when it rains) and in doing so noticed that the bilge was covered in some sort of cement like "stuff"
I literally had to shove a chisel in there and twist to break loose this 50 year old concoction of dirt, water, E36 M3, and corruption to get it out. This is only a very small sample.
I increased the lighting in my garage by 150%. I can actually see what I'm doing now. Went from 2double T8 fixtures to 5.
Continued to tear the garage down. Dropping the big truss's made of cement soaked 2x6 form wood is a bit pucker inducing. All of those are down now and I'm on to the scabbed together 2x4 ones. Bare slab on front half by Christmas break.
Changed the battery in the xB in the garage. Left the door open because it was warmer outside than in the garage.
I consider it a major accomplishment that I got the garage cleaned and organized enough that I could get the Jeep up and ready for its axle/suspension swap with plenty of room to work.
Dragged home my moldy dentside project with my new $2k U-haul, 17ft, 460 gas box truck.
I am really happy with the U-haul purchase. Came with a full 40 gallon tank of gas, the AC works great!, 150 pages of maintenance records, etc. etc. If anyone wants to hear my story about how to buy/how I bought mine, I'm happy to share.
Got 5 ton of gravel today for outside the garage and driveway. 15° out, spread later. No more muddy tires.
Moved the Firebird Forward a foot so the snowblower can sit between it and the garage door. Berkley you winter.
Didn't work on the project today, but tore down my Bonneville SSEi to install lower manifold gaskets, looks like they are original (old plastic design). During the teardown found a puddle of Dex-Cool under the supercharger in a pocket of the lower intake manifold, I flushed that stuff 3 years ago. This things been sucking coolant for awhile, probably since I bought it. It's a wonder I didn't hydraulic the engine. Gotta love them GM 3800s..
I finally bought a new gun for my mig welder and gave it a whirl. It's been a while, felt good to lay a bead. Also, took the cam out of my mustang motor. Its down to the bare block now!
Clearanced the front of the control arms on my Fiero so they don't rub on the (non-OE) brake rotors during tight turns. Wheel bearings might last a little longer now!
