Same here. What I notice most is how they're MUCH quieter than the previous diesel trucks.

Without optimizing the engine at the design stage for propane/CNG, there's little or no power to be gained. It's only real power potential is on forced induction cars, where that 120 octane can be made use of, but only when using aftermarket ECUs. OEM ECUs don't know what to do with the stuff.

I believe that diesel lower ends can be converted to propane/CNG easier due to the extra compression needed to ignite that oily fuel.  You would still need to supply a head with spark plugs to fire it off.

I thought this thread was going to be about propane injection, which I haven't seen much about in a few years. Not that there was much about it outside diesel Dyno runs and mud boggers
