I would love to design that. Install not so much.
Some designs are easier to do in paint - such as that Montecarlo. In paint, it's actually really simple. It's only two colors and you've got lots of margin for error because there are no parallel lines. Use vinyl for the logos.
I'd do the same with Alitalia, paint the big parts and use vinyl for the lettering. Much, much easier and probably less expensive.
Alitalia all the way, although I do like the blue and whit fiat too.
We stopped doing car work here at our sign shop years ago because we coudn't charge enough to make it worth the pain.
What about "make you own"?
Could be an interesting option, too.
I'll second the idea of simple shapes and limited colors, though. Getting a strip of vinyl is pretty cheap. and if you need cut it to make some angles, like the Alitalia look, that's a straight edge and exacto knife.
